DEVOUT - I’m slowly, but surely, making my way through this anthology.
I’m honored to have been approved for an ARC copy to read. I already have such a deep love for angels and various other religious symbolisms, so though I have been taking my time, I’ve been entirely all too excited to get into this read. Getting through this anthology, I’m wishing I’d heard about the submissions call for it (which, I somehow missed) because I have several pieces of my own that (I personally believe) could have fit in well. All the same, I’m having a wonderful time reading all the pieces by all the amazing writers who contributed.
I don’t think I’ll have DEVOUT finished by the end of July as I’d hoped, but I will have a more thorough review/ post on my thoughts when I’ve gotten through it.
I do, regardless of not being finished with it, wholeheartedly recommend reading it. Get your hands on a copy if you’re able!! If you’re into different interpretations of angels, it’ll be right up your alley.
